Blackberry client - sort by date

I seem to have some challenges on the blackberry client. When sorting by date, it is either the date farthest in the future first, or the undated items first.
I’m interested in the items due closest to TODAY being first, then the ones coming up, with undated at the end.
Also noticed that some of them are appearing as 2008-date and some are 2/3, 2/4 etc.
The blackberry display is too small to accommodate the 2008- items, and all I see is 2008, not letting me know exactly when an item is due unless I go into it.
Any plans to fix this?
