If I’m looking at a list of tasks within a project view – and I want to change one task to a different project, I can’t find an easy way to do this.
Related to GTD – if I have something that’s in the “Waiting For” project, and then the thing I’m waiting for happens, I may need to change it to a different context.
There’s no easy way to do this except from the main or the agenda view.
Happy to discuss further.

Yes yes…agree this would be a great feature. So far, the only way I’ve discovered to reassign a task’s project is by copying/pasting its important attributes into a new task correctly assigned, and then closing the (now empty) old one.

Actually, you can move a task assigned to you to another project from the Agenda view now. Just open up the task’s HUD and click on the project name. It will turn into a selector and allow you to assign the task to one of your other projects.
We actually will be adding a substantial number of features to the Project view as well, but our immediate focus has been on developing a few client applications to work with the Mentat service.
