We use LiquidPlanner for corporate project Management in 2 software companies I own, mainly because it allows realistic variability in estimation. I have also been using it recently for personal activities.
I am working through GTDing myself and have commandeered LP Categories for Contexts (it’s my company so i can heehee!)
Q1: How could I interface between personal items in LP and Mentat?? You’d prefer we change to Mentat I guess but I can’t see that yet and we would have a changeover period anyway
Q2: I have a PDA phone – how would I use Mentat on that? I guess my alternative is to get an iPhone

Q1: This latest version of Mentat can bring in Fogbugz tasks and export a csv file that Omniplan can read, and we have more planned. If we hear a lot of need for LiquidPlanner integration, we will certainly consider it for the feature roadmap.
Q2: We have Mentat for the BlackBerry as well as Aria Touch for the iPhone, if either of those options sound good.
Of course I would recommend you use Mentat, and get one of our mobile clients as well. Aside from being biased by working here, I use Mentat and Aria Touch form my iPod to manage my own tasks and its honestly been really great so far.
