I started using Mentat because of the blackberry client. Overall, I’m pretty happy. I purchased todo matrix, and like the GTD workflow on Mentat. The long-term is always the deal-sealer for me, though.
I have a curve…
Fonts: could be smaller, or user-configurable (the title bar on the project page is HUGE).
When out of radio range, making several changes causes a ‘too many threads’ exception.
I’ve seen other exceptions and crashes while Mentat is running in the background. I’ll try to pay more attention to them going forward.

Hi Matt,
I agree that user configurable fonts are the way to go. Erik and Garret Cole figured out the ‘too many threads’ issue today and we should have a new build out tomorrow with the fix in it.
Please let us know what other problems you notice. Most of us are using BlackBerrys ourselves, so we’re aware of some of these same issues, but I’m sure that we’re missing at least a few issues (which is why this is a beta).
I’m working with Garret Cole and a few other people on an architecture that will make our software more resilient when dealing with network outages, but it will most likely take us at least another month to roll it into a solid implementation.
