Mentat - by developers, for developers
Mentat was developed as an extensible development tool. It is ideal for small teams, particularly those in need to a public facing bug tracking and feature request system.
We designed Mentat to be an easy-to-use web service. Anyone interested in developing their own clients for Mentat or wanting to integrate Mentat support into an existing application can do so easily using our RESTful web APIs.
A collaborative development tool
The design for Mentat evolved from use of many different development tools, including Microsoft Project, Omni Plan, FogBugz, GForge, SourceForge, Mantis, and Bugzilla. The goal was to create a collaborative system that could aggregate tasks from several different projects into a unified system that would integrate key functionality from these applications into one, unified service.
Interface with your users
Need a CRM system? Create a new Mentat project and share it with your customers. Our new CRM features let you define the level at which customers can access your project - ranging from a totally open project to one limited to specifically invited guests with limited access.
Guest projects are ideal for tracking trouble tickets or feature requests. If you a consultant, sharing regular projects with customers can provide you with a great collaborative environment for your customers without compromising anyone's privacy.
